Composites and Filled Grade Series

Composites are a combination of materials such as a polymer plus reinforcing material which combine to give a product with specific enhanced properties such as increased rigidity or temperature resistance. Ecomann PHA can be combined with a number of materials such as natural fibres derived from jute or hemp plants or minerals such as talcum powder or wood flour. The fibres can take the form of continuous oriented fibres such as textiles or random fibres such as felts. This can be combined with PHA in the form of a film or powder.
